At Delap, we consider sustainable business practices to be an important component of living by our values. Because there are limited natural resources available on earth, our team makes a concerted effort to protect those resources for future generations. Environmentalism and sustainability are a growing concern, and by designing business policies to lower our impact on the earth, we see this as an extension of the quality service received by our clients.

As a distinguished member of Clackamas County’s Business Recycling Awards Group (BRAG), we have made efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2007, Delap transitioned our files to a “paperless” version. Delap also purchases copy paper containing 30% recycled content. We also recycle computers by donating them to outreach programs that work with developing countries around the world. We also recycle used toner cartridges, provide every team member with desk-side boxes for mixed recycling, and donate our beverage deposits from recycled containers to non-profit organizations every month.

Delap further supports sustainability by assisting our clients in exploring environmentally friendly options to reduce their carbon footprint and are advantageous tax minimization strategies for planning purposes.
